This book is an art exhibition at SHED GALLERY. The exhibition is by Jorge Lucero and it is of forty-five folded collages, a kind of drawing he makes by folding torn-out images one or two times. He doesn't glue or cut them. This book is not a catalogue of an exhibition. It is the exhibition in and of itself. When you own the book, you own the exhibition. Directions for how to use the exhibition are included in the book.

SHED is a visual art space for experimental engagement located in the Bywater neighborhood. We host local, international and national artists who stay in New Orleans for a week and work together with us on a project that culminates with an exhibition. We present 8 shows a year in the spring and fall. SHED was co-founded by Gabrielle Banzhaf and Jon Gott in 2021. Jorge Lucero is an artist from Chicago. He lives in Urbana and teaches in Champaign, IL.
