THINGS—I—LIKE (2016-ongoing) is a work made over the years while reluctantly traveling for business from one city to another. On these trips I propose to visit that region’s most well known art galleries and museums designating the things I like within a given institution’s displayed collections and exhibitions by taking a picture of the object or occurrence alongside a hearty thumbs-up of approval. On the occasion that I might be traveling with my kids, more than one thumb may show up in the photograph. The catalog below is not listed chronologically, rather alphabetically by the city wherein the objects or occurrences were encountered. Although these pictures include the works of other artists, this catalog of images is my artwork. An art work composed of things I like.
